---------- ✯ [ REFERENCES AND VIDEOS FOR YOU TO LOOK AT! ]

Here are some links I think that will be useful for you to use whilst learning about the world of Expressions.

Interactive Human Face Anatomy for Expressions
^Wonderful. Will help you find what muscles help whatever expression on the face, and help you see how it moves and where wrinkles will show.
Credit goes to ~rubymight for finding this magnificent thing

Der-Shing Helmer's Expression Tutorial
^A tutorial based mostly upon observation, go check it out!

Character Expressions Meme
^Good practice for starters, draw a character according to what emotion described.

------------------ ✯ [ VIDEOS ]

There are some notable movies and videos of people that express a variety of expression that you could find helpful.

"A Disney Sing-Along Sequel!"- Youtube Video
^ Silly faces/ exaggeration/ variety of face pulls

Ghost in the Stalls- A Youtube video
^Hand motions/ exaggeration/ Just story telling and acting out
also this is a hilarious story you should watch it

!!! SPOILER ALERTS FOR HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON !!!!
Scenes from HTTYD
^ Lots and lots of expression used, watch hand motions and observe how the faces scrunch up into expressions, all movement counts!

Pixar's UP - "Muntz is crazy"
^More serious/ concerned tone, Good to observe the moods expressed.

Geri's Game
^Wonderful facial expressions and gestures

El Dorado Scene
^Good eyebrow use and whole face scrunches, also hand motions are wonderous.

> If anyone has any useful links for reference, it would be great if you can suggest it to be put here too c: I feel there should be more.

I NEED THIS. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THIS TUTORIAL :iconcryforeverplz:

I often had problems with depicting emotions to the point of writing "how to draw emotion" on nearly every piece of paper I get hold of (except for my school stuff). This should help somehow.

Thank you! I know a guy in my animation class you did anime facial expressions when we were doing a facial expression sheet for our characters. The whole point of the freaking thing was to learn acting with animation!

The course I did with him was not specifically targeted towards character animation, but it was part of the overall course. We got a few acting lessons, but I think he decided animation wasn't gonna be his thing.I think he's more interested in the more technical side of animation nowadays.
