I was a melodramatic middle schooler in 2006 when I found dA.
Actually, I found it through Neopets, and joined it cause my good friends
had accs in it! They were the first "art & story" group I ever joined, and they're still my good friends to this day.Had I never joined their group in Neopets, I don't think I would have loved making characters and stories as I do now- Those times at Neopets were what assured me that I wanted to major in Art and continue making art and stories for the rest of my life.
So thank you, you now 7 year old kid infested website that made me feel for pixellated creatures.
But yeah, Deviantart is the longest art website I have stayed on. It's also my wall history- it has things from way back when I was a wee child, and I didn't realize how important it is to me now- all my art milestones can be seen on this account.
Now let's laugh at my old art!! Because that's realy what you're here for, don't lie

I don't think I'll ever put stuff in storage because I like seeing where I've come from, and I don't think it's a shame to have old art on an account. I would like to show that I was a less skilled artist at some point in my life haha.
